"Hockey has been in my life since age 5. I literally played until my 40's, and although I always played top-level, elite hockey, I was never going to go anywhere near The Show. But hockey has always been my first love. Probably the biggest thing I miss the most is the dressing room and camaraderie. I volunteered to shoot some "red carpet events" for the local Junior A team back in 2014, thinking I had a "decent" camera. Since then, it has been a continual progression of knowledge, gear, and learning. I'm rarely satisfied with my own results, always wanting that better shot and always wanting that "better" camera. But I love all sports. Capturing an athlete in the middle of a skilled move fascinates me. And having someone take joy in that photo, is the ultimate compliment to me."
